As a Mowi company we can rely on a plentiful supply of superior Atlantic salmon from our fully integrated ‘feed-to-fork’ supply chain, with full traceability from feed to finished product. For other species, our sourcing experts have an eye for the best quality fish from responsible sources around the world.
At Mowi, our goal is to create a unique culinary experience for our consumers. Our plant in Bruges is specialized in processing and packaging of fresh fish, both salmon and a large range of whitefish species. The plant in Ostend has a long tradition and expertise in the production of top-quality smoked salmon, starting from fresh Atlantic salmon fillets. We also supply a wide range of other pre-packed chilled, smoked and frozen fish products, produced and packed at our plants in the Netherlands, France, Spain and Poland. Our products find their way to consumer through retail, foodservice and industry, mainly in the Benelux but also in other, mostly European countries.

Meeting the needs of consumers, retailers and foodservice providers and driving category innovation, the Mowi product development teams spot market trends and identify opportunities, ideas and requirements for new products. Often this is done exclusively in close cooperation with a partnering customer. At other times, new products are developed in-house by Mowi and become widely available thereafter.

In Belgium, the vast majority of our products are sold under the private labels of our customers.
