Applications roll in for Mowi Salmon Wagon
Applications have gone live for Scottish charities hoping to have the fundraising Mowi Salmon Wagon attend their event in 2020.
From now until February 21st, charities are able to lodge their applications with our charity panel, which has the difficult task of selecting which events the wagon will help raise funds for in the coming year.
Successful applicants will see Mowi’s Salmon Wagon attend their event fully stocked with fresh salmon raised by Mowi and manned by our talented chefs, meaning 100% of the proceeds from the sale of food on the day will go to their cause. The wagon serves delicious salmon fillets in a bun and salmon noodle salads.
Speaking about this week’s launch, Ian Roberts, Director of Communications and Business Development, Mowi Scotland, said:
“We are thrilled with the response we have received so far. So many fantastic causes have already applied and we’re sure that there will be many more to come before applications close on February 21st. We are looking forward to the salmon wagon hitting the road to help many charities and community causes.”
The Mowi charity panel will meet in March to select the successful events, choosing a range of charitable causes benefiting communities across Scotland. All applicants will be notified by the end of March whether their application has been successful or not.
