Aquaculture is transforming the seafood industry and Mowi is playing an important role in that change – leading the planet’s blue revolution. At Mowi in Scotland, we raise our salmon in cold and clear Scottish Highland waters and employ 1,900 staff, in remote, rural and economically fragile locations, with three hatcheries, six freshwater lochs and 56 sea farms that produce over 75,000 tonnes of salmon annually.
Our salmon products are primarily sold within the United Kingdom – and our salmon are the UK’s most-valued food export, enjoyed by customers around the world.
The second Mowi Salmon Experience tour took place in September following the success of our first tour in 2025, this time hosting Master Chefs of Great Britain. Mowi ASA, Mowi Scotland’s parent company, achieved record-high revenues of EUR 1.6 billion and operational EBIT of EUR 231 million in the second quarter of 2026.
