Every little helps – MOWI range now available at Tesco

As the roll out of the MOWI range of products continues to gather momentum, another milestone has been reached with retail availability at the UK’s largest retailer, Tesco.

The full range of products is available to buy in-store and online which includes MOWI Rich Cold Smoked Salmon Slices; Piri Piri Slow Roast Salmon Fillets and Fresh Scottish Salmon Fillets.

The MOWI range is available in 394 stores and is the first time for some years that Mowi has supplied Tesco with a finished product. All our people involved in rearing our premium product will be pleased to hear that you can even buy it from larger Tesco stores along the West Coast including Stornoway and Oban, as well as the Dingwall branch in Ross-shire.

Speaking about the Tesco relationship, Richard Barlow, National Account Manager said: “We are absolutely delighted that the MOWI range is available at Tesco. As the largest supermarket in the UK, it is great to take our premium range to so many shoppers. We are confident that our range will perform well, recruiting new consumers and continuing to drive category growth as we have witnessed since launching earlier this year.”

The 30 second TV adverts continue to run across multiple channels including Channel 5, Sky and ITV3 and now highlight the fact that the range is available to buy at Tesco.

In November, the MOWI fresh fillets will be part of the 2 for £7 deal which Tesco is running across other meats too in over 880 stores during this promotion.
