Finance team hits the road
The finance team hit the road in September visiting sites and meeting colleagues across farming.
Speaking about the visit, Patricia Duzinkewycz, Finance Manager, said: “As part of the salmon lifecycle tour, the finance team travelled from our base in Rosyth to Fort William, visiting the farm’s office to spend time with our colleagues in the controlling and procurement teams, and the Loch Leven site, before heading off to the Inchmore hatchery and the feed plant in Kyleakin.
“We ended the lifecycle tour with a speed boat ride to the Maol Ban farm (which was certainly more adventure than we’re used to!) where we experienced, first-hand, the scale of a 160m pen and learned about the challenges faced by our farming colleagues and the effort that goes into producing delicious, nutritious and healthy Scottish salmon.
“The value of this trip cannot be underestimated. The whole team thoroughly enjoyed it and will no doubt recall the time spent together for many years to come. The trip allowed us to build on new and existing relationships, meet colleagues, and, of course, learn a great deal about the business that we’re proud to be part of.
“We are very grateful to all of our colleagues who took time out of their day to share their knowledge with us. #WeAreMowi”
