Community infrastructure
We aim to be an active member of the communities in which we operate by providing well-paid and sustainable employment and supporting our staff to volunteer for crucial services such as the fire service, mountain rescue and HM Coastguard.
Recognising the challenges of living and working in remote and rural areas, we also aim to improve the communities in which we operate by enhancing the infrastructure. Over the years, this has led to funding towards broadband, moorings, the construction of new housing and the installation of defibrillators.
Mowi has been consistently adding defibrillator units at its farms across the Highlands and Islands. These defibrillators can be accessed by the public and are registered with The Circuit – National Defibrillator Network and the Scottish Ambulance Service.
