Mowi’s headquarters is located in Bergen, Norway and represents the origins of our company which started in 1964.

Today Norway is our largest and most important breeding region with presence from the south to the far north of the country. In Norway, our operations cover the entire value chain from breed and feed to freshwater and marine breeding and sales.

In addition, Norway is the center for our genetics department, R&D, trading, central administration and general management team.

Mowi Belgium is a dynamic fish company with branches in Bruges and Ostend.

The Bruges plant was established in 1953. The facility specializes in processing and packaging fresh fish, both salmon and a wide range of whitefish species. The Ostend plant was established in 1924 and has a long tradition and expertise in the production of top quality smoked salmon. Mowi Belgium specializes in the production, sale and marketing of a wide range of fish and seafood products, including fresh, smoked, frozen and coated fish products, pre-packaged or in bulk packaging for foodservice, retail and industry.

Mowi Poland is our largest processing unit with a total of 9 plants, processing both Atlantic salmon and other species in all formats, from fresh to smoked and a variety of specialties. Mowi Poland acts as a hub for our operations in Central Europe, supplying products to various markets. In Poland, we have a large team of specialists in many areas, including product development, processing, sales, marketing and a business support center.

As France is an important market, we have 2 specialized plants for fish processing and preparation: Mowi Boulogne-sur-Mer, our flagship for processing fresh salmon and a range of whitefish, and for packaging coated products. At Landivisiau, our salmon is smoked and processed.

In the Faroe Islands, Mowi farms Atlantic salmon. There is a production of about 10,000 tons per year.

Germany is an important consumer market and Mowi Germany has both a sales team and a processing plant.

Mowi Ireland is the largest producer of farmed Atlantic salmon in Ireland. All of our production in Ireland is certified organic. Mowi Ireland operates in five counties on the west coast of Ireland, from Donegal in the north of the country to Cork and Kerry in the southwest of the country.

In 1984, Ireland first harvested Atlantic salmon from juvenile salmon put into the sea in 1982. In 1986, the company became self-sufficient with its own breeding stock. Since then, the company has grown and we now export more than 85% of our products to countries around the world, including the US, France, Belgium, Italy, the UK, Germany and Switzerland, Canada and the Middle East.

Italy is an important consumer market and Mowi is present with a team that includes sales, quality, logistics and administration.

In the Netherlands, we have one processing company, Mowi Lemmer. The company specializes in coatings and processes various fish species in different sizes, shapes and sizes into a wide range of high-quality convenience products that find their way to consumers at home and abroad through retail and foodservice channels. Mowi Lemmer is the oldest company in the Mowi Group, founded in 1882 as a smokehouse for locally landed fish.

Mowi Scotland is the largest supplier of farmed Atlantic salmon in the United Kingdom. In Scotland, we have the full value chain from feed to farming to primary and secondary processing of salmon. Our production facility in Rosyth delivers delicious and healthy products to our customers and also distributes our own brand MOWI.

Mowi Turkey is located on the Asian side of Istanbul. With a market sales team and processing facilities, Mowi Turkey serves delicious, healthy products to the local market.

Mowi Chile is one of the pioneers of aquaculture in Chile. We have more than 800 employees and we cover the entire value chain. Our activities take place mainly in the Los Lagos region and in the Aysén region of Puerto Montt

Canada is an important growing region where Mowi operates on both the east and west coasts. Mowi Canada East is proud of its operations in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador. Mowi Canada West farms Atlantic salmon in British Columbia using an integrated system of broodstock selection, freshwater and saltwater farms and a state-of-the-art processing facility.

Mowi USA is headquartered in Florida. Mowi has three plants in the US, one in Florida, one in Texas and one in Maine. Perfectly located to supply all of the US with Atlantic salmon and other seafood products of all origins. Our production facilities can provide high value-added products, from fresh portions to smoked slices.

In China, we have a sales office and a processing plant.

Mowi China sources raw materials from all over the world to supply customers in the Chinese market.

Japan is a major fish market and consumer of Atlantic salmon. Mowi has three of its own processing plants in the country and our headquarters is located in Tsukiji, Tokyo.

Mowi Korea has one processing plant and its headquarters are located in downtown Seoul.

Singapore houses the management team for our Asian operations and a sales force for the Southeast Asian market.

Mowi Taiwan serves the Taiwanese market with delicious and healthy salmon and seafood products. In addition to selling our products to customers and our Supreme Salmon brand, we also have a restaurant franchise under the same brand.

Mowi Vietnam is located in Dong Nai Province just 30 km from Vietnam’s largest city, Ho Chi Minh City. Operating for more than 15 years with a stable core of production staff led by quality veterans within the industry, Mowi Vietnam’s production facility serves the entire Asian region with high-quality products.
