From backyard beginnings to world leadership

Since the beginning of the Mowi adventure in 1964, the company has grown and changed in many ways. From its humble beginnings, when a few pioneers began raising fish in their backyards, to today, Mowi has grown into a world leader. As the company has grown, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions, Mowi has maintained its leadership position as a forerunner of the aquaculture industry.
