Mowi’s headquarter is located in Bergen, Norway and represent the origin of our company started in 1964.

Today Norway is our largest and most important farming region with presence from the South to the very North of the country. In Norway, our operations cover the entire value chain from breed and feed to farming in freshwater and seawater to sales.

In addition, Norway is the center for our genetics department, RnD efforts as wel as trading, central administration and general managment team.

Mowi Belgium is a dynamic seafood company with facilities in Bruges and Ostend.

The factory in Bruges was founded in 1953. The facility is specialized in processing and packaging of fresh fish, both salmon and a large range of whitefish species. The factory in Ostend was founded in 1924 and has a long tradition and expertise in the production of top-quality smoked salmon. Mowi Belgium is specialized in the production, sales and marketing of a wide range of fish and seafood products, including fresh, smoked, frozen and coated fish products, pre-packed or in bulk packaging for foodservice and industry.

Mowi Poland is our largest processing unit with a total of 9 factories, processing both Atlantic salmon as well as other species in all formats from fresh to smoked to a variety of specialties products. Mowi Poland acts as a hub for our operations in Central Europe and provides products to several markets. In Poland we have a large team of specialists in many areas such as product development, processing, sales, marketing as well as a business support center.

As France is a key market, we have 2 dedicated plants, specialised in fish processing and preparation: Mowi Boulogne-sur-Mer, our flagship to process fresh salmon and a range of whitefish species, as well as pack coated products.

On the Faroe Islands, Mowi farms Atlantic salmon and has a production of approx. 10.000 tons annually.

Germany is an important consumer market and Mowi Germany has both a sales team and one processing plant.

Mowi Ireland is Ireland’s largest producer of farmed Atlantic salmon. Our entire production in Ireland is organic certified. Mowi Ireland operates in five counties on the west coast of Ireland, from Donegal in the north of the country to Cork and Kerry in the southwest of the country.

The first harvest of Atlantic salmon took place in Ireland in 1984 from young salmon put to sea in 1982. By 1986 the company became self-sufficient with its own broodstock. Since then the company has grown and now exports over 85% of our product to countries all around the world including USA, France, Belgium, Italy, UK, Germany and Switzerland, Canada and the middle east.

Italy is an important consumer market, and Mowi is present with a team consisting of sales, quality, logistics and administration.

In the Netherlands, we have one processing plant, Mowi Lemmer. It’s a coating specialist and process several fish species in a variety of formats, shapes and sizes into a wide range of high-quality convenience products which find their way to consumers at home and abroad through retail and foodservice channels. Mowi Lemmer is the oldest company in the Mowi group, founded in 1882 as a smokehouse for fish landed locally. 

Mowi Scotland is the UK’s largest supplier of farm-raised Atlantic salmon. In Scotland, we have the full value chain from feed to farming to primary and secondary processing of salmon. Our production facility at Rosyth provides delicious, healthy, great tasting products for our customers and for our own MOWI brand. 

Mowi Turkey is located on the Asian side of Istanbul. With a sales team in the market and processing facilities, Mowi Turkey serve delicious, healthy, great tasting products to the local market.

Mowi Chile is one of the pioneering companies in aquaculture in the Chile. We have more than 800 employees and we cover the entire value chain. Our operations are mostly located in the Los Lagos region as well as the Aysén region. Puerto Montt

Canada is an important farming region where Mowi has operations on both the East and West coast. Mowi Canada East proudly operates in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. Mowi Canada West farms Atlantic salmon in British Columbia using an integrated system of brood stock selection, freshwater hatcheries, saltwater farms and state-of-the-art processing plant.

Mowi USAs head office is located in Florida. Mowi has three factories in the US, one in Florida, one in Texas and one in Maine. Perfectly located to serve all of US with Atlantic salmon and other seafood from all origins. Our production facilities have the ability to deliver highly value-added products from fresh portions to smoked slices.

In China, we have a sales office and a processing plant.

Mowi China sources raw material from all corners of the world to supply customers in the Chinese market.

Japan is a large seafood market and consumer of Atlantic salmon. Mowi has three own processing plants in the country and our main office is located in Tsukiji, Tokyo.

Mowi Korea has one processing plant and the head office is located in the center of Seoul.

In Singapore, we have our management team for our Asian operation as well as a sales department covering the South-East Asian market.

Mowi Taiwan serves the Taiwanese market with healthy, great tasting salmon and seafood products. In addition to selling our products to customers and under our Supreme Salmon brand, we also have a restaurant franchise under the same brand.

Mowi Vietnam is located in the province of Dong Nai only 30km from the largest city in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City. Mowi Vietnam production facility has been operating for over 15 years with a stable core production work force managed by quality veterans within the industry, and serves the whole Asian region with high-quality products.
